Music for Youth & Children

St. Paul’s children’s music program offers numerous opportunities for children to have an active role in worship. Children learn to appreciate worship while contributing their time and talents with a focus on praising God. Please encourage your child to be a part of one of these active and fun choirs aimed at helping them to grow in their Christian faith.

Children

Children ages 3 through 2^nd grade can participate in the Cherub Choir and Melody Bells.  Children in Grades 3^rd through 6^th can participate in the Celebration Choir and Hand Chimes.  All children’s groups rehearse on Wednesday’s from 5:00-6:00 PM and are finished in time for the Wednesday night supper and activities.

Youth

The Rockin’ Ringers are a handbell choir for children in 7^th through 12^th grades.  No previous ringing experience is necessary, although it is helpful to have had some piano or band instrument experience.  This group meets on Sunday afternoons from 5:-5:45 PM.

Cherub Choirs

Children ages 4 through 2nd grade have their first opportunity to share in church music by participating in the Cherub Choir and Melody Bells. Rehearsal time is at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings (just prior to Sunday school).

Celebration Choirs

Children in grades 3rd through 6th can participate in the Celebration Choir and/or Hand Chimes. These groups rehearse on Wednesday evenings beginning at 5:00 pm. Children are finished in time for Wednesday night supper and activities.

iSing

Children in grades 5th through 6th can participate in iSing. This group performs contemporary Christian music in a variety of styles. We also do liturgical dance and dramas.

Rockin’ Ringers

The Rockin’ Ringers are a handbell choir for children in 7th through 12th grades. No previous ringing experience is necessary, although piano or band instrument experience is helpful. This group meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-6:00 pm.
